Our Mission
The focus of PVYA Cheer is to build trust and confidence in our teammates while encouraging the personal best from every member of our team. PVYA cheerleaders will learn the fundamentals of the sport through teamwork, responsibility, hard work, good sportsmanship, friendship and safety.
PVYA CHEER teams
Travel Cheer Team: The travel team consists of no more than 10 girls per squad.
In-House Cheer Team: The In-house team consists of girls ages 5-10 and there is no try-out requirement. Practices are held once a week at Valley Elementary. The girls will learn chants, cheers, jumps, and motions. At the end of the season, there will be a parent performance. The girls will put on a show for the parents to demonstrate the cheers and technique they learned. Season begins May 1st and ends June 5th.
