Alex Miller
went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Wolves to a 10-6 victory in four innings over Thunder on Saturday at
NSAA Field three.
He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.
The top of the first saw the Wolves take an early lead, 1-0. Peyton Rogers
singled to ignite the Wolves'
offense. A single by Alex then moved Peyton from first to second. Gavin Petrine singled, plating Peyton.
It
didn't take long for Thunder to respond as it scored one run of its own
in the first. Thunder scored on an RBI single by Roberts.
NORTHSIDE
ATHL ASSOC BABE RUTH LEAGUE Wolves went up for good in the second,
scoring five runs on a groundout by Peyton and three singles.
Thunder
scored two runs in the bottom of the third to cut its deficit to two.
An RBI single by Smith and an RBI single by Davis sparked Thunder's
rally.
A
two-run fourth inning helped bring Thunder within four. A two-run
single by Roberts gave Thunder life. Landon got the last out, as
Thunder's Smith.
