2026 Summer Soccer Camp

Brunswick High Coach Shawn Baker and NCAA Division 1 Player Phil Bucheimer and Dera Demich, will host PVYA's Soccer Camp this Summer!

Camp Details
-Dates and Time: July 13-16 (8:00-11:00am)  
-Ages: Incoming Kindergarten-8th grade (Groupings: K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th)
-Cost: $100 per individual ($80 per siblings) … $125 same day registration
-Location: Faith Baptist Church 2212 Jefferson Pike, Knoxville, MD 21758

-Activities/skills covered: Individual skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, defending), individual skill games/competitions, small sided games (3v3 or 4v4), futsal, and tactical game play

-Camp Mission Statement: To provide a positive environment for the local youth players that will develop the overall understanding of the game (skill and tactical), and to promote a safe and healthy lifestyle and build community relationships.

-Coaches:
*Shawn Baker (Current BHS Varsity coach, Former FC Frederick Coach, Former FCF NPSL player, Frostburg State Mens Soccer Alum, BHS Soccer Alum)
*Phil Bucheimer (Former BHS varsity assistant coach, former Washington Spirit Strength and Conditioning coach, Former D1 (Adelphi University) and Salisbury Soccer alum).
*Dera Demich (US Soccer's East Region Girls Soccer Coach of the Year)

Snacks & Water
The Staff will provide snacks & water for the kids.

To register for the PVYA Summer Soccer Camp, simply log on to www.PVYA.com and click on the registration button at the top of the page. Select ‘PVYA Summer Soccer Camp’ from your account menu and follow the steps. 

Investment: $100 per player. Payable online at www.pvya.com or via $125 check brought to camp 

Requirements: Proof of Medical Insurance, signed Waiver

2026 FSSL Summer Swimming

PVYA Registration for Summer Swimming. 

The swim team is a co-ed team comprised of youth ages 5-18 (age as of June 1st). We practice Monday-Thursday by age group. 

Please check the website https://pvya.swimtopia.com/ for practice and meet schedules.

Registration will be $145 per swimmer.

COVID-19 Restrictions

PVYA Summer Swimming will follow all COVID-19 protocols as defined by Frederick County as well as the Frederick Summer Swim League. As these restrictions are ever changing, further clarification will be provided at the parent meeting; date to be determined.

Swim coaches will not be able to assist swimmers across the pool. All swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool to participate in the swim program. The first day of practice will serve as an evaluation day. Should your child not be able to swim the length of the pool safely, we will refund your registration fee.
