As part of the Frederick Summer Swim League (FSSL), we promote friendly, neighborhood-level team competition while providing our youth with the opportunity to develop athletic skills, positive sportsmanship, teamwork, and an appreciation for the relationship between effort and success—all within a wholesome and fair environment.

Parent Orientation
An in-person parent orientation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th during practice. We will be on the upper deck patio at Brunswick Crossing and available to answer questions during each practice session. Attendance is not required, but we encourage you to stop by if you have questions.
New Swimmers
If your child has never participated on a swim team, they must attend a New Swimmer Evaluation, which will take place during the first two days of practice.

⚠️ A $25 late fee will apply
🔴 Registration Closes: May 29th (No registration will be accepted after this date)
Refund Policy:
Registration is refundable (minus a $10 processing fee) through May 29th. After May 29th, refunds will not be issued.
Team Suit
We will be using a solid black functional suit this season — any brand is acceptable.
Pools, Patios & Porches offers a great selection of technical swim suits and will measure your swimmer for proper fit with suit purchase.

6:00 - 6:30 pm: Ages 5-8 yrs
6:35 - 7:10 pm: Ages 9-11 yrs
7:15 - 8:00 pm: Ages 12-18 yrs

7:00-7:55 am: Ages 11-18 yrs
8:00-8:45 am: Ages 5-10 yrs

Meet check-in is typically 7:00 a.m.
Meets generally conclude around 12:00 p.m.
(Divisionals and All Stars may run longer.)

Volunteers
We are a 100% volunteer-run team, and parent participation is essential to a successful season.
Each family is required to volunteer in some capacity, and there are a variety of roles available — there truly is something for everyone!
Families who choose not to contribute volunteer hours may opt out by paying a $150 volunteer fee per swimmer.
